On Tuesday, 9th April 2013, H H Swamibapa Pipe Band was invited to perform and entertain an estimated 60,000 people at the Kasarani Sports Complex for swearing-in ceremony of the fourth president of Kenya, Uhuru Kenyatta. About a dozen African leaders and a number of foreign diplomats were present to witness this historical event. The Band represented Nairobi County and gave an outstanding performance of something unique from the rest of the counties; a different blend of music from what Kenyans are normally used to traditional ngoma.
