On Monday, August 7th, 2023, Shree Swaminarayan Temple - Secaucus, NJ held the Subheccha sabha for Acharya Swamiji Maharaj as His vicharan in North America was coming to an end. Acharya Swamiji Maharaj began the program by performing sandhya aarti and leading the sandhya niyams. Following sandhya niyams, sants and disciples spoke about the vicharan and recapped important events from the summer. Afterwards, disciples were offered prasad from Acharya Swamiji Maharaj for their seva throughout the year and were given a chance to perform aarti. At the end of the event, all disciples were given the chance to perform Acharya Swamiji Maharaj's darshan before enjoying maha-prasad.
On Tuesday, August 8th, 2023, Acharya Swamiji Maharaj and sants departed North America as they looked to continue their vicharan in the United Kingdom. Disciples gathered at Newark Liberty International Airport for Acharya Swamiji Maharaj's darshan one last time as part of the North American 2023 Vicharan. Acharya Swamiji Maharaj waved bye to the North American disciples as He passed security and proceeded to the flight gate.
Acharya Shree Jitendriyapriyadasji Swamiji Maharaj is the current spiritual leader of Maninagar Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Sansthan. He is the heir to Acharya Shree Purushottampriyadasji Swamishree Maharaj, and sixth in the lineage of ascetic Acharyas, which descends directly from Lord Shree Swaminarayan.
