Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa Pipe Band USA performs at India Day Parade 2022

Monday, August 15th, 2022, marked India's 75th annual Independence Day celebration. As part of the celebrations, the Federations of Indian Associations NYC planned the annual India Day Parade in NYC to be held on Sunday, August 21st, 2022. Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa Pipe Band USA was invited to lead the NYC India Day Parade as part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. The New York City India Day Parade is known to be the world's largest celebration for India's Independence Day as hundreds of thousands of guests join the celebrations annually. The parade commenced at the intersection of Madison Avenue and 38th Street, where Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa Pipe Band USA saluted New York City Mayor Eric Adams. The band marched down Madison Avenue playing Indian Patriotic tunes for all guests to enjoy. Upon arrival to the parade grandstand, Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa Pipe Band USA saluted Tiranga and honored guests before completing the parade.
