In October of this year, disciples of Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Sansthan from all over the world will be celebrating the centenary celebration (Shatabdi Mahotsav) of our beloved Gurudev Jeevanpran Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa. This festival, the largest and most magnificent festival in our Sampraday thus far, will be celebrated from Monday October 1st through Thursday October 11th, 2007, at our headquarter temple, Shree Swaminarayan Temple Maninagar, India.
Being able to attend the celebration in India is an opportunity of a lifetime because our Gurudev’s Shatabdi is such a significant and exciting event in our Swaminarayan religion. Unfortunately, many of the disciples in North America will not be able to attend the festival due to several reasons. His Divine Holiness Acharya Swamishree has lovingly accepted the prayers of those disciples to have Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa’s Shatabdi Celebration on the grounds of the USA. This grand five-day festival will be held at Shree Swaminarayan Temple New Jersey from Wednesday August 8th through Sunday August 12th, 2007.
Acharya Shree Jitendriyapriyadasji Swamiji Maharaj is the current spiritual leader of Maninagar Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Sansthan. He is the heir to Acharya Shree Purushottampriyadasji Swamishree Maharaj, and sixth in the lineage of ascetic Acharyas, which descends directly from Lord Shree Swaminarayan.
