Shree Swaminarayan Temple Los Angeles celebrated Jeevanpran Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa Pragatya Jayanti Utsav on 10th October 2015. Devotees from Shree Swaminarayan Siddhant Sajivan Mandal West Coast gathered at the Temple to celebrate this festival. Celebration started with disciples performing utsav and with chaab carrying Jeevanpran Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa on a palanquin into the temple hall. After offering all chaab items, offering cake to Swamibapa, and performing poojan, disicples performed kirtan bhakti in honor of the occasion.Vachnamrut & Kirtan recital was performed by all devotees. Celebration concluded with disciples receiving Prasad.
Acharya Shree Jitendriyapriyadasji Swamiji Maharaj is the current spiritual leader of Maninagar Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Sansthan. He is the heir to Acharya Shree Purushottampriyadasji Swamishree Maharaj, and sixth in the lineage of ascetic Acharyas, which descends directly from Lord Shree Swaminarayan.
