Shree Swaminarayan Temple Los Angeles celebrated various utsavs in shravan maas during month of August and September 2015 which included Hindola utsav and Janmashtami. Disciple prepared beautiful Hindola with Lentils and Stationary items. On Janmashtami, Lord Shree Swaminarayan gave His divine darshan from a golden ceremonial swing. Vachnamrut & Kirtan recital was performed by all devotees during both events. Both celebration concluded with disciples receiving Prasad.
Acharya Shree Jitendriyapriyadasji Swamiji Maharaj is the current spiritual leader of Maninagar Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Sansthan. He is the heir to Acharya Shree Purushottampriyadasji Swamishree Maharaj, and sixth in the lineage of ascetic Acharyas, which descends directly from Lord Shree Swaminarayan.
