On Saturday, October 15th, 2016, disciples gathered at Shree Swaminarayan Temple - Secaucus, NJ to observe Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa Jayanti and for Sharad Purnima. After performing dhoon in honor of Swamibapa's 109th manifestation day celebration, disciples lead a procession with chaab items carrying the divine idol of Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa to the temple hall. Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa was seated upon a golden palanquin as disciples sang hymns in the procession. They then performed swagat poojan and offered cake to Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa before performing kirtan bhakti and listening to His Divine Holiness Acharya Swamishree's ashirwad. Following sandhya aarti and niyams, disciples enjoyed prasad. The Sharad Purnima event started with multiple dances performed by disciples from New Jersey and Delaware before transitioning to samuh-raas. Disciples enjoyed themselves with religious hymns, dance, and togetherness.
