On the auspicious day of Ekadashi, 1st May 2023, Swamibapa Education Centre - Nairobi held a Jeevan Ghadtar Shibir. The aim of the Shibir was to instil good characters in young devotees which help them become good citizens.
The Shibir commenced at 6:00 am with Mangla Niyams. This was followed by Pooja Niyams beginning with a live event where Shree Sarvapriya Swami explained how to perform the first mansipooja of the day - Prathkaal Mansipooja. Thereafter, each participant performed the entire Pooja niyams as explained and demonstrated on a large screen. The participants took a short break during which everyone was served with breakfast prasad before commencement of the second session of the shibir.
The Second session commenced with various religious and Gujarati grammar games and the participants were divided into 4 groups, Namely: Ghanshyam Maharaj, Sahajanand Swami, Swaminarayan Bhagwan and Nilkanth Varni. This was fun with spiritual knowledge (Gamat sathe gnyan) to build up vital aspects of youth development such as communication, teamwork, thought process, memory recall, etc. In the midst of all these games the next session commenced with a live event where Shree Satyaprakash Swami explained how to perform the second mansipooja - Rajbhog Mansipooja. Thereafter, games continued for the participants. Alongside this, a seminar was held at 10:00 am for the devotees at Swamibapa Hall where the speaker, Mr Alpesh Vadher, CEO of PKF discussed on succession planning.
The final session included games for the rest of the devotees present thereafter to conclude the shibir a live event where Shree Sarvatmapriya Swami gave an insightful speech to the students of Swamibapa Education Centre and the devotees present. Thereafter, Prasad was served to all.
