Amrut Padarpan Mahotsav - D2 - Amas
The Second day of the Mahotsav commenced with the continued recital of the Vachanamrut Rahasyarth Pradeepika Tika scripture.
In the evening, being Sadguru Din, celebrations commenced with Sandhya Aarti niyams at 5.30pm, followed by Kirtan bhakti and a 30 minute meditation (dhyaan) . Thereafter, Gnan Mahodadhi Acharya Shree Jitendriyapriyadasji Swamiji Maharaj showered His divine Ashirwad on all present. Once again, the main temple hall was filled with disciples who had gathered for the Sadguru Din celebrations and Rasotsav. Acharya Swamiji Maharaj presided on a decorated rotating throne. The Musicians then took centre stage with live music and kirtans (devotional songs) for the commencement of the Rasotsav. Devotees performed raas in a plethora of styles, dressed in variety of traditional and regional clothes – each with the sole sentiment of pleasing Lord Shree Swaminarayanbapa Swamibapa, Vedratna Acharya Swamishree Maharaj and Acharya Swamiji Maharaj. Everyone danced the evening away. Not wanting to miss out, Sants also joined in, and whipped up the crowds as the music sped up to an excited and vibrant climax. All under the loving gaze of Gnan Mahodadhi Acharya Shree Jitendriyapriyadasji Swamiji Maharaj. The evening concluded with devotees performing Sanedo - Indian traditional dance. Delicious prasad was served to thousands of disciples as they dispersed with sweet memories of the Mahotsav.
