Devotees at Maninagar Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Sansthan, Shree Swaminarayan Siddhant Sajivan Mandal – Nairobi got together and assembled a total of 5 Hindolas to please Lord Swaminarayanbapa Swamibapa.
The hindola festival commenced on 15th July 2022. From this day, for the duration of a month, the Divine Murti of the Lord is seated upon a divine Hindola. During this festive month devotees please the Lord by decorating the hindola with variety of items and swing the Lord on the hindola.
This year's Hindola themes consisted of Nilkanth Varni Vanvicharan, Dada Khachar Darbar, Chocolate Factory, Lion king and lastly coloured Paper Crafts to mark the upcoming Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Suvarna Mahotsav.
Likewise, devotees residing in Mombasa, Uganda assembled various Hindolas to please Lord Swaminarayanbapa Swamibapa.
Acharya Shree Jitendriyapriyadasji Swamiji Maharaj is the current spiritual leader of Maninagar Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Sansthan. He is the heir to Acharya Shree Purushottampriyadasji Swamishree Maharaj, and sixth in the lineage of ascetic Acharyas, which descends directly from Lord Shree Swaminarayan.
