Jeevan Ghadtar Shibir - Nairobi

For the benefit of young devotees, on 8 th May 2022, Swamibapa Education Centre held a Jeevan Ghadtar Shibir. The purpose of the shibir was to inculcate good characters in young devotees which help them become good citizens.

On this day, young devotees woke up early and enthusiastically looked forward for the day’s activities. Lord Swaminarayanbapa Swamibapa was pleased to see many of His young devotees attend the Mangla Aarti. After the Mangla Aarti niyams and prarthna, devotees were shown a video of Ved Ratna Acharya Swamishree Maharaj performing His daily pooja niyams. Thereafter, devotees were taken through the chronological steps of daily Pooja niyams. All young devotees brought their Pooja and performed the Pooja niyams before Lord Swaminarayanbapa Swamibapa.

A short break followed for fruit breakfast before commencement of the second session of the shibir.
This was fun with spiritual knowledge (Gamat sathe gnyan) to build up vital aspects of youth development such as communication, teamwork, thought process, memory recall etc.

Religious quiz, antakshri, puzzles, treasure hunt and murti indentification were just some of the activities that kept young devotees busy for two hours of quality time.

In the evening, an informative talk cum presentation on hazards of drug abuse was given to educate the
youth on dangers of drug abuse. Young devotees can hence become aware of the dangers and stay away from such bad habits.

Prasad was served to all participants, teachers and volunteers who helped to make this day such a successful event.
