Abji Bapashree Praghatya Chhatthi Mahima Ghaan
15 years after Lord Swaminarayan withdrew His human form, He re-manifested as Jeevanpran Shree Abji Bapashree on Kartik Sud 11 samvat 1901, 15 days after Diwali. Abji Bapashree expounded the teachings of Lord Swaminarayan by answering questions asked by Sadguru Swamibapa (Ishwarbapa), with reference to the Vachanamrut. Sadguru Swamibapa later on compiled the questions and answers and published the "Raharsyarth Pradipika Tika Sah Vachanamrut."
On the 27th November 2015, devotees gathered in Nairobi Mandir to celebrate the Chhatthi (6th day after manifestation) of Jeevanpran Shree Abji Bapashree. Sandhya arti niyams were conducted at 5.45pm and thereafter sants and disciples gathered around the cradle to sing devotional kirtans reciting the manifestation and glory of Jeevanpran Shree Abji Bapashree. HDH Acharya Swamishree performed dhoon and aarti as sants and devotees roared glory mantra (chhadi) before Jeevanpran Shree Abji Bapashree ceremoniously disembarked from the cradle.
Traditionally, the prasad on this auspicious day of chhatthi is kuler (a mixture of millet flour, ghee and gor) which was distributed to the gathering.
Acharya Shree Jitendriyapriyadasji Swamiji Maharaj is the current spiritual leader of Maninagar Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Sansthan. He is the heir to Acharya Shree Purushottampriyadasji Swamishree Maharaj, and sixth in the lineage of ascetic Acharyas, which descends directly from Lord Shree Swaminarayan.
