Monopoly Chase Bhav Pushpanjali celebrations

The community at Shree Swaminarayan Mandir Kingsbury gathered on Sunday 28^th May 2023 to celebrate Ved Ratna Acharya Swamishree Maharaj's 81^st manifestation day. 

A prarthna was sung in front of the Lord to start the hours of fun filled games. Along with many inflatables and go karts, Peppa Pig and Chase made a special appearance! Other young members of the Mandir participated in a unique game of 'monopoly chase' throughout the London Underground. 

A truly appetising maha prasad was had by the hundreds who gathered before the evening programme commenced. 

A vibrant swagat yatra procession took place on the grounds of the Mandir with members of the community taking part in the Marathi style occhav, with the students of Swamibapa Gujarati school following with their hand crafted birthday cards and banners. Our Prem Murti Bapa was elevated on a royal blue and gold palki, adorned with a pearl rose haar. 

Inside Mandir, offerings of fruits and jewellery were made to the Lord, and our Prem Murti Bapa was showered with golden flowers symbolising the community's gratitude for decades of countless memories He has given us; a community that will forever remain indebted to Him and inspired by Him. A marvellous display of dishes were offered to the Lord made by the children of the recently formed Swamibapa Cooking Classes.  

The evening sabha concluded with a heartfelt video that compiled memories shared by members of the Kingsbury Mandir community, senior Sants and a powerful biography of our Prem Murti Bapa recounted by Acharya Shree Jitendriyapriyadasji Swamiji Maharaj.
