His Divine Holiness Acharya Shree Jitendriyapriyadasji Swamiji Maharaj heeded the loving prayers of His disciples residing in the UK, arriving in London on Saturday 18th June 2022. Despite potential problems with the issuance of visas pertaining to His wider international tour this year, the Lord showed His will to fulfil the spiritual desires of His children living across the world, and Acharya Swamiji Maharaj and a mandal of sixteen sants soon arrived at London Heathrow Airport for His second international vicharan.
Acharya Swamiji Maharaj arrived at Shree Swaminarayan Mandir Kingsbury, where hundreds of disciples eagerly awaited His darshan. The weather remained warm and sunny throughout the morning’s event. Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa Pipe Band saluted Acharya Swamiji Maharaj soon after He presided on a golden chariot. Disciples drew His chariot into Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa complex during a densely packed procession led by the Band. The route into Mandir was lined by students of Swamibapa Gujarati School, who had come to welcome Bapa wearing their mainstream school uniforms as part of a ‘reverse mufti day’; the students’ wish was for the funds raised from their donations today to be invested in educational projects in India, under the direction of Acharya Swamiji Maharaj.
Acharya Swamiji Maharaj performed aarti to Lord Shree Swaminarayanbapa Swamibapa, and gave His darshan to everyone in the congregation presiding on His Gadi.
Bapa’s arrival in the UK marks the start of Acharya Swamiji Maharaj’s Summer 2022 international vicharan, which will see Him bestow His divine darshan to disciples in the UK and North America, preside over Patotsavs in those regions, including that of Shree Swaminarayan Mandir Kingsbury on Sunday 28th August.
