Jeevanpran Swamibapa had only one thing in mind – the salvation of our souls – Acharya Swamishree Maharaj

On Monday 12th October celebrations for Gurudev Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa 108th Pragatya Jayanti (Manifestation Day) were held at Shree Swaminarayan Mandir Kingsbury.

In the lead up to the day, two videos were shown over the weekend showcasing the seven prophesies that told of the manifestation of Jeevanpran Swamibapa and how He rejuvenated the faith after after Abjibapashree left His divine form on.

On the day of the celebration, Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa's murti was carried by disciples in a beautifully carved palaquin and saluted by Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa Pipe Band and Cadets.

At the entrance of the mandir, the band and cadets formed a guard of honour as Swamibapa was led to the front of the mandir. The swagat followed behind and presented gifts to Gurudev Swamibapa as he gave darshan to the sabha adorned in vagha made from fresh flowers.

After swagat poojan, all disciples had the opportunity to perform poojan and aarti to Jeevanpran Swamibapa. These festivities were followed by the divine ashirwad of Acharya Swamishree Maharaj and Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa.

Acharya Swamishree reminded us in His ashirwad to;

Remain at the divine shelter of Shree Swaminarayan Gadi for the duration of your life, remembering three principles:

1. Learn to forget trivial matters and not make issues out of them.
2. Learn to live in harmony with everyone – with a compassionate heart, not a hostile nature.
3. Completely dedicate yourself to God and attain the same form and virtues as Him.

On this special occasion, the 25year Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa Smruti Mandir Rajat Mahotsav 2016 was announced. Acharya Swamishree Maharaj also launched a new logo for the Mahotsav as well as a special addition to the ‘Jay’.
