Swearing-in ceremony of the fourth president of Kenya, Uhuru Kenyatta. On Tuesday, 9th April 2013, H H Swamibapa Pipe Band was invited to perform and entertain an estimated 60,000 people at the Kasarani Sports Complex for swearing-in ceremony of the fourth president of Kenya, Uhuru Kenyatta. About a dozen African leaders and a number of foreign diplomats were present to witness this historical event. The Band represented Nairobi County and gave an outstanding performance of something unique from the rest of the counties; a different blend of music from what Kenyans are normally used to traditional ngoma. A vast majority of the audience had never before experienced or heard live blend of Scottish instruments. (9th April 2013)

Prof. Rajendra Singh, head of India's Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) had come to inaugurate celebrations marking 50 years of service by the RSS in Kenya (known locally as the "Bharatiya Swayamsevak Sangh," or BSS). Acharya Shree Jitendriyapriyadasji Swamiji Maharaj is the current spiritual leader of Maninagar Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Sansthan. He is the heir to Acharya Shree Purushottampriyadasji Swamishree Maharaj, and sixth in the lineage of ascetic Acharyas, which descends directly from Lord Shree Swaminarayan.
Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa Pipe Band is part of Maninagar Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Sansthan based in Ahmedabad, India. Each Pipe Band is managed by the Mandir in its location.
