Promulgation ceremony of new constitution of Kenya
27th August 2010 was a landmark day in the history of Kenya. Over hundred thousand Kenyans witnessed the promulgation of a long awaited new constitution at Uhuru Park, in Nairobi. H. H. Swamibapa Pipe Band was invited to perform at such a grand occasion witnessed by over 5 heads of African States and several notable dignitaries.

Suvarna Pratishtha Mahotsav
Exactly 50 years ago, Jeevanpran Swamibapa inaugurated Shree Swaminarayan Mandir in the village. In celebration of this golden jubilee, and to mark the opening of a new Mandir in Vrushpur, the Suvarna Pratishtha Mahotsav Vrushpur, has been inspired by Acharya Swamishree Purushottampriyadasji Maharaj. The 5 day festival will take place from Thursday 7 May to Monday 11 May 2009.

Madaraka Day celebrations
H. H. Swamibapa Pipe Band together with the H. H. Swamibapa Procession Girls were cordially invited to perform at this year Madaraka Day celebrations at the Nyayo National Stadium. In presence were His Excellency Hon. Mwai Kibaki, C.G.H., M.P., President and Commander-In-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kenya, The Prime Minister, members of 45 day old Grand Coalition Government, Diplomats and a large crowd of over 40,000 people.

Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Rajat Mahotsav

Virat Hindu Sangam
Prof. Rajendra Singh, head of India's Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) had come to inaugurate celebrations marking 50 years of service by the RSS in Kenya (known locally as the "Bharatiya Swayamsevak Sangh," or BSS). Seven thousand Hindus from over 32 institutions from all across Kenya joined together in the "Virat Hindu Sangam" to honor Prof. Singh. Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa Pipe Band - Nairobi was a standout performer during the spectacular processions which commenced at Kenya Bhramsabha building on Muranga Road and culminated at SSD Temple in Lower Kabete.

Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa Smruti Mandir - Murti Pratishtha Mahotsav
A magnificent marble memorial Temple was created at the exact site, in Godhasar, where Acharya Swamishree performed the cremation rites of Gurudev Jeevanpran Swamibapa in 1979 CE. This Temple epitomises the profound divine love of Acharya Swamishree towards His Gurudev Jeevanpran Swamibapa.
Acharya Shree Jitendriyapriyadasji Swamiji Maharaj is the current spiritual leader of Maninagar Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Sansthan. He is the heir to Acharya Shree Purushottampriyadasji Swamishree Maharaj, and sixth in the lineage of ascetic Acharyas, which descends directly from Lord Shree Swaminarayan.
Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa Pipe Band is part of Maninagar Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Sansthan based in Ahmedabad, India. Each Pipe Band is managed by the Mandir in its location.
