The small village of Vaghjipur in the Shehra region has become an important centre of spirituality for the entire region of Panchmahal. This is due to the establishment of Shree Swaminarayan Mandir in the village 48 years ago in 1975, by Gurudev Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa. 

Disciples from the surrounding regions of Dahod and Mahisagar regularly come for darshan and worship at this Mandir. The arrival of Acharya Swamiji Maharaj in the village to celebrate the Mandir patotsav gave them all the opportunity to gain His divine blessings.

On Saturday 04 November 2023, Gnan Mahodadhi Acharya Swamiji Maharaj performed the patotsav ceremony, and offered the annakut thaal, after which aartis were performed.

During the assembly, the conclusion of Shree Abji Bapashree ni Vato scripture recitals were held. As part of the charitable projects of the Organisation, grants were given to students for support of their ongoing further education. Local dignitaries came for Acharya Swamiji Maharaj’s darshan and blessings.
