Friday 25 September 2020 to Monday 05 October 2020, Acharya Shree Jitendriyapriyadasji Swamiji Maharaj visited the Kutch region for the first time in his capacity as Acharya of Shree Swaminarayan Gadi.
During this period, Acharya Swamiji Maharaj remained in Bhuj, but each day, he visited a different village and held assemblies in remembrance of our beloved Acharya Shree Purushottampriyadasji Swamishree Maharaj. On his arrival at each Mandir, wonderful displays had been created to welcome him, and lead Acharya Swamiji Maharaj to the divine sinhasan, for the Lord’s darshan.
Acharya Swamiji Maharaj visited Shree Swaminarayan Mandir Vrushpur on 26th Sep, Kera and Madhapar on 28th Sep, and Mankuva on 29th Sep. That day, he also visited the site of Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa Mahila College and the outskirts of the Mirzapur region. On Wednesday 30th, he visited the village of Bharasar, first going for darshan at Shree Purushottam Pragatya Dham, and then to the Mandir. On 1st Oct, he went to Naranpur, and then to Ghanshyamnagar and Mandvi on the 2nd Oct. On Saturday 04 October, a special event was held in the outskirts of Naranpur, where a large piece of land is being cultivated into a forest region in remembrance of His Divine Holiness, World Peace Ambassador, Acharya Swamishree Maharaj. This 13 acre site is being planted with trees, shrubs and flowers, and provide an ecosystem to encourage birds and animals to nest and live there. This remembrance forest is being created to align with Sewa-murti-param-tapa Acharya Swamishree Maharaj’s personal interest in preservation of the environment, care of animals, and protection of the ecology in general.
