Sants and disciples from all over Gujarat gathered in Maninagardham, to celebrate the festive season of Diwali and the New Year in the divine presence of Acharya Swamishree Maharaj.

On Sunday 27 October 2019, the Sadguru Din Commemorations of dhyan, scriptural recitals, singing of devotional songs, etc. were held in the Brahm Mahol. In accordance with the traditions of Diwali, the entire Mandir had been decorated with lamps and intricate rangoli designs. The Chopda Poojan ceremony was performed, during which businessmen brought their new year’s accounts books to be consecrated.

Monday 28 October 2019 marked the first day of Samvat 2076. Acharya Swamishree Maharaj bestowed New Year blessings to all the Sants and disciples. This was broadcast live to disciples living all around the world. A truly magnificent Annakut, an array of food dishes, was beautifully arranged before the supreme Lord presiding in Maninagar Mandir. Acharya Swamishree performed aarti and offered the thaal to the supreme Lord Swaminarayanbapa Swamibapa.

These Diwali and New Year festivities formed a facet of the upcoming festivals of Shree Abji Bapashree Shatamrut Mahotsav and Shree Vachanamrut Dwishatabdi Mahotsav, which are to be held in November of 2019 in Vrushpur, Kutch, at which disciples of Maninagar Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Sansthan all around the world will be present.
