On Tuesday 30 May 2017, Acharya Swamishree Maharaj performed the patotsav ceremony to mark the 50th anniversary since Gurudev Swamibapa first installed the divine Murtis of Lord Swaminarayanbapa Swamibapa in Mumbai Mandir.
Immediately after celebrating the Sadbhav Amrut Parva in Maninagardham, Acharya Swamishree Maharaj travelled directly to Mumbai during the morning of Monday 29 June 2017. That evening, a special concert of devotional music called "Divyang Night" was presented by a talented group of artists called Dilki Najar Se. The unique feature of this group is that they are all either blind or have impaired vision. Acharya Swamishree Maharaj applauded their talent, and gave encouragement and support for them all to progress and use their musical skills. The Sants and disciples of Mumbai offered adoration to Acharya Swamishree Maharaj in celebration of His 75th manifestation day. Many leading dignitaries of the Mumbai region came to greet Acharya Swamishree Maharaj and gain His divine blessings on this auspicious day.
On Tuesday 30 May 2017, Acharya Swamishree Maharaj performed the patotsav ceremony to mark the 50th anniversary since Gurudev Swamibapa first installed the divine Murtis of Lord Swaminarayanbapa Swamibapa in Mumbai Mandir. A procession was held to commence the day’s events. At the front steps of the Mandir, Acharya Swamishree Maharaj installed the divine footprints of Lord Shree Swaminarayan, which are constantly being bathed by a stream of water emerging from the mouth of a sacred cow. He also unveiled the new art gallery, which has been created on the ceilings of the Mandir. These spectacular new oil paintings describe the glory of Lord Shree Swaminarayanbapa Swamibapa and Acharya Swamishree Maharaj.
A special souvenir booklet, detailing the history of Mumbai Mandir was inaugurated. This special edition has been written by Dr Sunita Khariwal, one of Mumbai’s leading lawyers and principal of K C Law College.
Annakut thaal was offered to the Lord, after which Acharya Swamishree Maharaj blessed the congregation of Sants and disciples. Many disciples had arrived in Mumbai to celebrate this golden jubilee from around the world. The next morning, Acharya Swamishree Maharaj and a group of 120 Sants and disciples embarked on an 18-day tour of the Far East. As part of this pilgrimage, named the Sadbhav Amrut Yatra, the group will visit Australia, Singapore, Malaysia and Japan.
