Shree Swaminarayan Mandir Bolton celebrated their 18th Patotsav on the 19th August 2018. After Mangla Aarti, Acharya Swamishree performed the Patosav ceremony. Hundreds of disciples participated in the ceremony and led to the flag-raising ceremony being performed.
An annkut was offered to Lord Swaminarayan and consisted of a variety of Indian Sweets. Acharya Swamishree, sants and disciples performed aarti’s to Lord Swaminarayan and eventually led to the cutting of the cake by Acharya Swamishree. The event concluded with Acharya Swamishree’s divine Ashirwad and Maha Prasad was served to end the day.
Acharya Shree Jitendriyapriyadasji Swamiji Maharaj is the current spiritual leader of Maninagar Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Sansthan. He is the heir to Acharya Shree Purushottampriyadasji Swamishree Maharaj, and sixth in the lineage of ascetic Acharyas, which descends directly from Lord Shree Swaminarayan.
