On Tuesday, November 13, 2016, Shree Swaminarayan Temple - Secaucus, New Jersey hosted its 12th annual health camp in conjunction with the Indian Health Camp of New Jersey. Volunteers came together to help doctors and nurses provide blood, eye, cardiac, and dental examinations as well as cancer and disease screenings. Patients arrived at 8:30 AM and were provided a breakfast as well as a healthy lunch at the conclusion of the health camp. Secaucus Mayor Michael Gonnelli also stopped by to meet patients, doctors, and volunteers and praised the temple's efforts. Once again, it proved to be another successful record setting event as volunteers helped over 300 uninsured and under-insured New Jersey residents, the most in 12 years of service.
